Chants Des Racines<\/strong><\/em> (Songs of Roots) is the result of 2 Cameroonian exiles<\/strong> trying to rediscover the musical foundations that have shaped them and defined their struggles. A journey through the musical production of continental and diasporic Africa<\/strong>, from the 18th century to the present day<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Augustin DIKONGUE
<\/strong>bass voice (Basse noble bassa’a)<\/p>\n

With a background in opera singing, which he performs in various orchestral choirs and opera houses, Augustin Dikongu\u00e9 has remained attached to his Bassa’a roots. His vocal signature expresses this as much as the songs written especially for him in this southern Cameroonian language.<\/p>\n

His performances are always intense, skin-deep and soulful, with an uncommon sensitivity.<\/p>\n

Venu du chant lyrique qu\u2019il pratique dans diff\u00e9rents ch\u0153urs d\u2019orchestre et d\u2019Op\u00e9ras, Augustin Dikongu\u00e9 est rest\u00e9 attach\u00e9 \u00e0 ses racines Bassa\u2019a, qu\u2019il exprime autant dans sa signature vocale que dans certains titres \u00e9crits sp\u00e9cialement pour lui, dans cette langue du sud du Cameroun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
